TEST REVIEW NISI CLOSE UP LENS KIT The Nisi Close Up Lens Kit is a converter that you can screw onto your lens and with which you can take macro photos up to 1:1, depending on the lens. The lens is light and compact and, together with the 16 mm f/1.4 and the 30 mm f/1.4, forms a beautiful series of bright lenses for these systems. If you think you never need the adjustment options, then the Laowa 14mm F4 FF Zero-D is not only much smaller and cheaper, but also a fraction sharper and therefore a better choice. REVIEW SONY FE 14MM F1.8 GM The Sony FE 14mm F1.8 GM is Sony’s most wide-angle fixed focal length lens. It is small, light and bright with a maximum aperture of F1.8. REVIEW PANASONIC 25MM F/1.7 A cheap, bright, f/1.7, standard lens has been one of the last gaps in the extensive range of Panasonic micro-43 lenses. That is less strange than it seems, because Panasonic already has two lenses in this range. On the one hand, you can choose from the Panasonic 20 REVIEW PANASONIC LEICA DG 8-18MM F2.8-4 For many people, the Panasonic LEICA DG 8-18mm F2.8-4 – thanks to the lack of that characteristic convex front lens, a modest weight and size along with high build and image quality – comes very close to the holy grail for a wide-angle zoom. REVIEW: LAOWA 14MM F4 FF RL ZERO-D The Laowa 14mm F4 FF RL Zero-D is a compact and light super wide angle for system cameras. What is special for a lens with such a short focal length and a field of view of no less than 114 degrees, is the ability to mount small, 52mm screw filters on the front. REVIEW SAMYANG AF 18MM F2.8 FE The Samyang AF 18mm F2.8 FE is the lightest and smallest super wide-angle with autofocus that you can buy for full-frame cameras. It is also extremely cheap. Is it worth anything? Absolutely. The Samyang AF 18mm F2.8 FE performs well. Click on the lens for specifications, prices and test results. TEST RESULTS: Samyang AF 18mm REVIEW PANASONIC LEICA 12MM F/1.4 Professional photographers with an Olympus or Panasonic camera have waited painfully for a bright, dust- and splashwater-tight wide-angle lens. For the Panasonic Leica 12mm f/1.4, that is. Micro-43 cameras and lenses are attractive for those who aim for high image quality and simultaneously want to keep the size and weight of the cameraequipment limited.
REVIEW PANASONIC 45-200MM F/4-5.6 II The Panasonic Lumix G Vario 45-200mm f/4.0-5.6 II Power O.I.S. is the update to the old, familiar 45-200mm. REVIEW MAGIC SHIFT CONVERTER + VENUS LAOWA 12MM F/2.8 ZERO The Laowa Magic Shift Converter is a special adapter for the Laowa 12 mm f/2.8 Zero-D. The Laowa 14mm F4 FF RL Zero-D is a small super wide angle with great performance. The sharpness is good, if you stop down one stop, sharp even out to the corners, and the distortion is indeed low. The center is slightly sharper than the corners, but the difference is less than with the Lumix 20mm f/1.7 pancake, for example. We tested the Olympus 25 mm f/1.8 on an Olympus OM-D E-M10. This combination is nicely compact and light. At the same time, it lies very well in the hand. REVIEW: SONY FE 35MM F1.4 GM The Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM is already Sony’s fifth lens with this focal length, and it should be the best ever. Years ago, Sony opted for the “One Mount” strategy, in which one lens mount serves on all cameras, from the inexpensive system cameras with crop sensors to the professional video cameras. REVIEW PANASONIC 12-60 MM Panasonic Lumix 12-60 mm is a perfect partner for a GX8 or GX80 and is not a bad choice on a Panasonic GH4 or an Olympus camera. The Panasonic 12-60 mm complements the other Panasonic standard zooms. Anyone who wants to have a compact and inexpensive kit lens has a great choice with the Panasonic 12-32 mm. REVIEW OLYMPUS 25MM F1.8: SO GOOD! We tested the Olympus 25 mm f/1.8 on an Olympus OM-D E-M10. This combination is nicely compact and light. At the same time, it lies very well in the hand.
