CONTRIBUTORS- WRITERS Bob Elliott founded the Canadian Baseball Network in 1999. Born in Kingston, Ont., he covered both the Montreal Expos (1978-1986) and the Toronto Blue Jays (1987-2016). He won the J.G. Taylor Spink award presented in Cooperstown at the Hall of Fame ceremonies in 2012. The award was re-named the BBWAA Career Excellence Award in 2021.
