O "Dia D" de vacinação contra o sarampo acontece neste sábado (15) na região de Sorocaba e Jundiaí (SP). A ação tem como prioridade vacinar de crianças a partir de cinco anos a adolescente de 19 anos. A administração municipal orienta que toda a população a partir de seis meses de idade e nascidos a partir de 1960 procurem as unidades para atualização das vacinas. A ação tem o objetivo de facilitar o acesso das pessoas que não conseguem comparecer às UBSs durante a semana. Quem já tem as duas doses da vacina registradas na carteirinha não precisa se vacinar

novamente.

Segundo a Vigilância Epidemiológica de Jundiaí, foram registrados na cidade 117 casos positivos de sarampo no ano de 2019. Em 2020, até o momento, foram cinco casos notificados, dois descartados e três aguardando resultado. Ao longo da campanha também serão disponibilizadas doses contra a febre amarela para aqueles que ainda não se vacinaram ou que precisam da dose de reforço.
