This was the first morning on vacation and the first time we vacationed with my best friend and her kids and husband. This was the first time for her kids to go to the beach. Everyone got up early and one by one came out on the porch and we just all sat in silence enjoying the sunrise and taking it all in!! This isn’t easy to do with 5 kids but the beach’s magic washed over them and they were so relaxed just enjoying the view. We all sat in silence before someone spoke up and said, “Let’s go!!”

My sweetie and I are from Ohio and we had a full beach wedding planned this past fall until Hurricane Dorian came along. We tried to wait it out as long as we could in our beach house after all of our family and friends’ flights were cancelled. Needless to say, we had to cancel our wedding because Dorian hit the day of our wedding. We were able to get home safely, got hitched at our local court house and came back down to Surfside in October for our honeymoon. That’s where this picture came from our photographer met up with us and captured this picture that we were hoping to have done on our wedding day.
