PLANETISUZOO.COM (ISUZU SUV CLUB) • VIEW TOPIC Here is the procedure to clear the TCCM memory. 1 Take 2 pieces of wire about 200mm long and strip the ends. 2 Remove the drivers front seat or console wherever it is located. On the 2004 Rodeo it is under the front part of the console. 3 Find the TCCM, it's under the cut out in the floor mat in applicable vehicles. The PCM is comparing input and output rpm and detecting a difference that could mean the TCC is not locking up. Also on back of the hard top when you open up the back tail gate there will be two Philips head on each side that hold on a plastic peace on (look kind of like vents) when u remove that there will be bolt/nuts inside that you will have to remove before you can take off the top. Holley 650 carb and GM HEI distributor. I used the adapter kit superman (Lou) linked and a flywheel from them. I can't tell you how many times I've replaced the A/C components in Rodeo/Amigos without removing the bumper or steering shaft. The condenser comes out fairly easily by reaching through the openings in the bumper and the compressor bolts will all come out witha wiggle.

I did a search, but only found where people were talking about doing it, or had just done it, or it was one of the later 3.2s or even a 3.5. PLANETISUZOO.COM (ISUZU SUV CLUB) • VIEW TOPIC The transmission holds about 9 US quarts of ATF. If you warm the ATF and remove the drain plug about 3.5 quarts will come out if the level was correct. If the ATF is very dirty it is best to refill with clean AFT drive the vehicle a short distance and repeat the drain process. The idea is to keep diluting the remaining fluid with clean fluid. Pull the large hose that sits to the back of the TB, the one that goes down to the Idle Air Control valve. Load it up with Sea Foam or PB Blaster and let it soak for a while (several hours)..block off the hose or reattach it. After a few hours or overnight, then start it up and see how it idles. I live in eastern Montana and I think the Rodeo is the perfect vehicle for around here, I'm sure the Troop would be great also but the softness of the Rodeo is kinda nice especially on the long gravel roads that you want to run upwards of 45on.

This means any Puncture that is in the side wall or shoulder, or shoulder to side wall area of the tire is a NONE REPAIRABLEPUNCTURE

The older 3.2s are going to be very different electronically, so much that it isn't feasible to swap them unless you bring the entire wiring harness, computer, and ALL the various OBDII sensors with it. My last bracket I welded on is a bit rough around the edges on the weld. PLANETISUZOO.COM (ISUZU SUV CLUB) • VIEW TOPIC This is the trailer hitch. I mounts under the cross member I made with 6 grade 8 bolts. If you look closely you'll see more of the old trailer hitch. It's also made with 2 1/4'' x 1/4'' angle welded together to make 2.5'' square tube. Then the remain parts of that old trailer hitch got welded on to the bottom. I just put some new plugs in my 2004 isuzu Rodeo 3.2 NGK (bk-r5egp) and after one day of driving it it started running sick and throwing a P0300 and a P1311 code. Do you know if the 2004 Rodeo uses anythingdifferent?

When you get that 2.6, make sure you get all of the accessory brackets for it. The 2.6 water pump is slightly different than the 2.0 and 2.3. its longer and the blades are a little deeper into the housing of the block. DOT has set a new tire repair guidelines that, by LAW, tire shops have to follow. The PCM is comparing input and output rpm and detecting a difference that could mean the TCC is not locking up. It could also mean there could be slippage in the clutches due to low hydraulic pressure. I did a search, but only found where people were talking about doing it, or had just done it, or it was one of the later 3.2s or even a 3.5. PLANETISUZOO.COM (ISUZU SUV CLUB) • VIEW TOPIC The transmission holds about 9 US quarts of ATF. If you warm the ATF and remove the drain plug about 3.5 quarts will come out if the level was correct. If the ATF is very dirty it is best to refill with clean AFT drive the vehicle a short distance and repeat the drain process. The idea is to keep diluting the remaining fluid with clean fluid. The Rotor Sensor is attached to the Rotor, as the Rotor spins it interrupts the magnetic field causing an AC voltage to be developed inthe coil.

I stopped at a Honda dealer in Vegas today to grab a few, and had a big surprise. It appears you can not buy the washers anymore. PLANETISUZOO.COM (ISUZU SUV CLUB) • VIEW TOPIC The Trooper 3.5L is interchangable with the 1998+ 3.2L (in other words, the same vintage as the 3.5L) , not the older ones. The older 3.2s are going to be very different electronically, so much that it isn't feasible to swap them unless you bring the entire wiring harness, computer, and ALL the various OBDII sensors with it. Also on back of the hard top when you open up the back tail gate there will be two Philips head on each side that hold on a plastic peace on (look kind of like vents) when u remove that there will be bolt/nuts inside that you will have to remove before you can take off the top. The PCM is comparing input and output rpm and detecting a difference that could mean the TCC is not locking up. The ABS Rotor Sensor, commonly called Tone Ring has 54 slots cut into the ring. The Rotor Sensor is attached to the Rotor, as the Rotor spins it interrupts the magnetic field causing an AC voltage to be developed inthe coil.

The 2.6 water pump is slightly different than the 2.0 and 2.3. its longer and the blades are a little deeper into the housing of the block. So, the big question is do I swap to a turbo diesel or rebuild the gas engine and add a supercharger. Let's just say the price is equal for both options. Holley 650 carb and GM HEI distributor. I used the adapter kit superman (Lou) linked and a flywheel from them. If you warm the ATF and remove the drain plug about 3.5 quarts will come out if the level was correct. If the ATF is very dirty it is best to refill with clean AFT drive the vehicle a short distance and repeat the drain process. The idea is to keep diluting the remaining fluid with clean fluid. PLANETISUZOO.COM (ISUZU SUV CLUB) • VIEW TOPIC get some 265/75/16 ATs and some Rancho RS5000's and you'll be much happier with the ride and the look then get some OME 919 springs ($150) and crank the torsion bars a bit, and you'll be set. I stopped at a Honda dealer in Vegas today to grab a few, and had a big surprise. It appears you can not buy the washers anymore. I can't tell you how many times I've replaced the A/C components in Rodeo/Amigos without removing the bumper or steering shaft. The condenser comes out fairly easily by reaching through the openings in the bumper and the compressor bolts will all come out witha wiggle.

I previously owned a '98 (only 30,000 miles when totaled) and '99 (under 60,000 when sold) and never had any problems of any kind. Just for others, the copper gasket needed can be had at Advance Auto or any other parts store for under 5 bucks fora few of them.

It comes in all colors Since its so deep and I don't want to have one drop or fight getting the spark plug socket off, I use the hose to screw them in and a regular socket to torque them PLANETISUZOO.COM (ISUZU SUV CLUB) • VIEW TOPIC Some 10 years ago, I was employeed at our local farmers CO-OP in the tire shop. Granted, I mostly repaired farm tractor tires, but we did sell about 20 - 30 sets of truck tires a month, and did on avreage about 6 to 8 automotive flat tire repairs per day. 10 years ago I was told that I could NEVER repair a sidewall puncture.
