OLIVE OIL MASHED POTATOES Trust me, you’ll be shocked at just how creamy and buttery these potatoes taste when made with olive oil and a splash of milk. That’s the beauty of extra virgin olive oil, it can so easily take the place of butter with no ill effects, and in fact I’d argue it makes these potatoes even butterier than if they were made with butter, if that’s even possible. Just because its combination of savory ingredients happen to all fall OLD-FASHIONED MEYER LEMON MARMALADE This is an old fashioned marmalade recipe, meaning it does not have any added pectin. What it does have is quite a bit of sugar. I know 3 1/2 cups seems like a lot, but please don’t try to reduce the sugar in this recipe. I won’t get into the science of it, but having the proper concentration of sugar is what allows the pectin to activate and the marmalade to form a proper gel. Cucamelons, also called mouse melons (OMG) or Mexican sour gherkins, are tiny, cucumber-like fruits native to Mexico and central America. With a thick outer skin with a watermelon-like appearance, it’s obvious where they get their name (I also think they look a bit likedinosaur eggs).

FLAKY PIE CRUST CRACKERS: 3 WAYS I mentioned in my Chicken Pot Pie Soup recipe earlier this week that, when it comes to pot pie, the crust is honestly the best part (I’m sure you don’t disagree). And since a soup doesn’t have crust, well, I need to be sure I got that buttery flaky element into the recipe somehow. So I whipped up a half batch of my favorite pie crust and cut it into cute little star shapes. ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH FUDGE FROSTING Sometimes you just want a plain-ass chocolate cake. GANACHE-STUFFED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES __ March 16, 2020 — _by_ Lindsay __ get fresh recipes via email:Subscribe __
SEND ME: New Posts Newsletter _Cue cookie craving: with crisp edges, chewy centers, and a hidden pocket of rich chocolate ganache baked right in the middle, you should probably go make some, like, now._ If you thought classic chocolate chip cookies couldn’t get any more perfect, think again! I’ve gone and stuffed them with chocolate ganache and the results are mind-blowing (and tongue-pleasing). I’m seriously obsessed with stuffed cookies… if you hadn’talready noticed
.
These particular stuffed cookies may not be quite as an unusual flavor combination as some of my others (ahem, black sesame and matcha)
