READY FOR A NEW ‘NORMAL’? THE CHALLENGES PRESENTED BY COVID-19 ARE UNPRECEDENTED. AND TODAY’S YOUNG PEOPLE WILL ENDURE ITS CONSEQUENCES FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. Despite all of this they are strong and inspired and they are rising to the challenges presented by the pandemic. To show our support of their dedication and commitment, we have a special message from our Chairman of Trustees, HRH The Earl of Wessex, sharing inspirational examples of how young people around the world are rising to the recent global challenges and responding to the needs of others, especially the vulnerable and isolated through their involvement in the Award. The film celebrates some of the truly amazing participants involved in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award and the resilience, ingenuity, and adaptability they have shown during the challenges ofCOVID-19.
