COMPETITIVE AND INVESTING IN GROWTH It developed into one of the cornerstones of well-being and prosperity in Finland. Metsäliitto Cooperative expanded its operations as well. INVESTMENTS
The value of the investment is EUR 1.6 billion and it is the largest investment ever made by the Finnish forest industry in Finland. The Kemi bioproduct mill will directly employ approximately 250 people and, in its entire direct value chain, roughly 2,500 people in total. There is an increase of 1,500 people compared to the currentsituation.

A valid occupational safety card is mandatory when working at Metsä Group's mills in Finland. Mills in Sweden require an SSG Access card. Before they start work at a Metsä Group site, our suppliers go through a general safety induction and a job-specific safety induction, and must obtain the METSÄ GROUP FOR STUDENTS: SUMMER JOBS, INTERNSHIPS, THESIS Internships for students from higher education institutions. We offer students from universities of applied sciences and universities an opportunity to complete their training requirement. Internships are usually available during the summer months, but students can also complete their training requirement in the spring or autumn.
