EVENTS - KEYSTONE TRAILS ASSOCIATION Allegheny River Canoe/Camping Trip. May 22-23, 2021. filled - register to join the waitlist. This journey takes you 31 miles down the Allegheny River. 100-MILE TRAIL CHALLENGE The Keystone Trails Association (KTA) annual 100-Mile Trail Challenge recognizes hikers that complete 100 miles or more of eligible Pennsylvania hiking trails between September 1 and August 31 and secure sponsorship for each mile of their journey (at least $1 per mile hiked). Every dollar raised supports hiking trails throughout the state of Pennsylvania.QUEBEC RUN TRAILS

If you aren't sure which are closest to 100-MILE TRAIL CHALLENGE The Keystone Trails Association (KTA) annual 100-Mile Trail Challenge recognizes hikers that complete 100 miles or more of eligible Pennsylvania hiking trails between September 1 and August 31 and secure sponsorship for each mile of their journey (at least $1 per mile hiked). Every dollar raised supports hiking trails throughout the state of Pennsylvania. STANDING STONE TRAIL Standing Stone Trail. Stone Valley Vista located just above Greenwood Furnace State Park. Known as the Link Trail until early 2007, the Standing Stone Trail (SST) connects the Mid State and Tuscarora Trails and traverses the Blue Mountain and Seven Mountains Regions. The 76-mile trail is orange-blazed and maintained by Standing Stone TrailClub.
GOLDEN EAGLE TRAIL
Golden Eagle Trail. A rugged and very beautiful loop trail, with a short entrance trail, the Golden Eagle Trail starts in the east side of Pine Creek Gorge and features a strenuous climb to pristine mountaintop streams and several outstanding vistas. The trailhead and parking lot are on PA 414, about 3.5 miles north of Cammal and 1.5miles
QUEBEC RUN TRAILS
Quebec Run Wild Area is a heavily forested section of land along the eastern slope of Chestnut Ridge in Fayette County. A short distance north of the Pennsylvania–West Virginia border, the area consists of 7,441 acres that encompass almost all of the Quebec Run and Tebolt Runwatersheds.

Donut Hole Trail. The Donut Hole Trail (DHT) is a long-distance backpacking trail paralleling the West Branch of the Susquehanna River through Sproul State Forest. It is one of the most remote and challenging of the state’s backpacking trails and is for seasoned hikers only, with numerous steep climbs and unbridged streamcrossings.

TRAIL CARE
* Each year we organize a minimum of nine trail care weekends, four week-long trail crews and two Code Orange one-day events to build and maintain hiking trails in Pennsylvania. * Our Trail Care and Trail Crew volunteers contribute 3000 – 4000 hours of trail labor annually. * We provide training workshops on chainsaw safety, trail erosion control, rock work and wilderness first aid. * In 2017, KTA introduced TRAIL CARE 101.
