Professors in Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics in DCI recognized Postgraduate dental colleges of India. SYSTEMATIC REVIEW ON ALTERNATIVE METHODS FOR CARIES Introduction: Dental caries is the most common chronic dental disease in the world. It is defined as a multifactorial microbial infectious disease characterized by demineralization of the inorganic and destruction of the organic substance of the tooth. ENDODONTIC TREATMENT OF CHRONICALLY INFECTED PRIMARY TEETH The successful management of chronically infected primary teeth is still a challenge owing to its complex root canal system, difficulty in mechanical debridement, polymicrobial nature of infection, and root resorption. The difficulties of complete root canal disinfection and the liability to reinfection still remain and render the prognosis less favorable in chronically infected teeth. COMPARISON OF THE FRACTURE RESISTANCE OF THREE DIFFERENT DOI: 10.4103/JCD.JCD_225_18 Background: The present study was undertaken to evaluate the most suitable recent restorative material for extensively mutilated teeth.Aim: This study aims to evaluate and compare the fracture resistance of maxillary premolars with Class II mesio-occlusal distal (MOD) cavities restored with recent Ever X posterior, bulk-fill composite, and Estelite sigma quick COMPARISON OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THREE DIFFERENT Aim: To compare the effectiveness of three different desensitizing toothpastes containing potassium salt, natural ingredients, and 8% arginine in reducing dentin hypersensitivity (DH). It is defined as a multifactorial microbial infectious disease characterized by demineralization of the inorganic and destruction of the organic substance of the tooth. EVALUATION OF COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH, SHEAR BOND STRENGTH Aim: This study aimed to compare the compressive strength, shear bond strength, and microhardness of glass-ionomer cement (GIC) Type IX and Cention N. Materials and Methods: Five samples each of GIC Type IX and Cention N were prepared for testing the shear bond strength, tensile strength, and microhardness. This implies that the dental profession recognizes that an artifact is of less biological value than the original healthy tissue. MID is a concept that can embrace all aspects of the profession. The common delineator is tissuepreservation

Successful root canal therapy relies on the combination of proper instrumentation, irrigation, and obturation of the root canal. Of these three essential steps of root canal therapy, irrigation of the root canal is the most important determinant in the healing of theperiapical tissues.
