Tamiya F1M2 'Pete' Scale: 1/50. Kit Number: MA 111. Manufacturer: Tamiya. Price: 300 yen. Media: Injected Plastic. Decals: sufficient to do almost any 'Pete'. AIR TRANSPORT COMMAND AIRFIELD AT LIJIANG (LIKIANG) Yunnan China Airfields. I studied in Yunnan last spring and visited several of the airfields used by the American Volunteer Group "Flying Tigers", the 14th Air Force, and Air Transport Command (the "Hump" pilots). These photos show the Air Transport Command airfield at Lijiang (Likiang) near Baisha village in the northwest of Yunnan. LINDBERG G4M KIT REVIEW But for the modeler who has the Lindberg kit--or wants one--and is up to the challenge, a relatively decent G4M2 can still be constructed--but it's going to take some extra effort. The small number of parts included for the cockpit are thick and simple. The cockpit canopy consists of two thick clear parts. The Kate's engine detail is good. It is cleanly molded and eliminates the need to look elsewhere for an engine. The directions can be described as "an adventure" for the non-Japanese speaking model builder.
