MIGRANT WORKERS AND THE IWW In August 2016 a member of the IWW started a campaign against Byron Burgers who had summoned their migrant staff members for training sessions across 15 Byron restaurants. The immigration police were there waiting and at least 35 workers were detained with 25 or more then deported. A further 150 were spared deportation and were believedto be

The government and its now clear and dangerous policy of herd immunity has exposed all of us to AVOIDING COMPULSORY REDUNDANCIES 1) Persuasive language. Use the boss’ language to build your case for avoiding compulsive redundancies: ‘The option of making employees redundant is usually the option of last resort ,’ (7) The employer must consult “in good faith”, that is, with a view to reaching agreement. SEX WORK IS WORK: IWW SUPPORTS FULL DECRIMINALISATION At its 2018 Annual Conference, IWW Branch delegates from across Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England were asked to consider a motion presented by our members to publicly state its commitment to the full decriminalisation of sex work and a full pardon for any sex workers convicted under existing legislation. BRISTOL IWW DEFENDING WHISTLE BLOWERS AND FREE SPEECH IN In March 2018 a FW ( fellow worker) working in Child Protection for Bristol City Council (BCC) was suspended from his post. He was charged with issues under the code of conduct, and most of the first set of allegations against him related to a closed Labour Party Facebookpage.

MIGRANT WORKERS AND THE IWW In August 2016 a member of the IWW started a campaign against Byron Burgers who had summoned their migrant staff members for training sessions across 15 Byron restaurants. The immigration police were there waiting and at least 35 workers were detained with 25 or more then deported. A further 150 were spared deportation and were believedto be

When the Conservative party took control of the country in 2010, the so-called justice system was struggling to maintain the facade that it was fair, equal or anything else positive which is prohibited by its design. It cannot be said to be a flawed design, since it achieves exactly what it intends in RACISM AND CLOSE SUPERVISION CENTRES The Close Supervision Centre (CSC) system was originally designed by the sadistic Michael Spurr back in 1996, long before his unfortunate rise to leader of the entire prisons and probation service. Its intended purpose from the beginning has been to brutalise these prisoners labelled as posing too much of a control problem on a whollyarbitrary
