WRITING PROBLEMS
The answer, for many of these children with specific writing and copying problems, is the retention of several Primitive (infant) reflexes which interfere with hand-eye coordination if they remain active in the school-aged child, preventing them from developing automatic writing skills. Once again INPP has found a way detectingrelevant

The word Dyspraxia is derived from two sources: Dys comes from Latin, meaning ‘not easy’ or ‘difficulty with’, and praxis from Greek, meaning ‘action’ or‘exercise’.

INTRODUCTION TO INPP The INPP Method is based on over 45-years of pioneering research, expertise and practice investigating and helping children to resolve physical factors underlying learning and behavioural problems. It is a completely drug-free and non-invasive programme using tailored daily physical exercises to help a child succeed. INPP’s proven track record demonstrates how the method can help children to overcome difficulties associated with:* Writing
* Reading
* Educational underachievement* Attention
* Dyslexia
* Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia) * Poor co-ordination, including clumsiness and balance relatedproblems
* Behavioural problems such as bed wetting and poor concentration * Panic disorder in adults (when balance related issues are present) The INPP method provides assessment and intervention in the form of a daily movement programme, which is carried out at home under parental supervision to improve the physical foundations for learning. Progress is assessed at 6 – 8 weekly intervals. INPP has witnessed a growth of interventions using similar techniques in combination with other therapies, which do not necessarily have the same evidence base as the INPP method. It is the goal of INPP to maintain their high level of quality standards. INPP also offers three levels of training for professionals to provide health practitioners, clinicians and teachers with the necessary skills to identify signs of neuromotor immaturity in children presenting with a range of specific learning difficulties and behavioural problems. A list of qualified practitioners (Licentiates) who have completed a one year INPP approved practitioner course and agree to abide by an annually renewable code of practise may be found via the contact page of INPP national websites. Please note that any person, organisation or other entity that does not appear on the Licentiate list is not a Licentiate INPP Practitioner operating under the approved Licentiate qualification required to practise the INPP method to Licentiate standard and they are not lawfully entitled to hold themselves out or advertise as being a Licentiate INPP Practitioner OTHER THAN THE PERSONS LISTED ON THE CONTACT/LICENTIATES PAGE OF THE INPP INTERNATIONAL OR NATIONAL WEBSITES. TESTIMONIALS
Mrs L from Cheshire: November 2020_ _ _“We would also like to say our eternal thanks to you Sally, for all your research, knowledge, experience and support, as this has directly impacted our 2 boys’ lives and we are very grateful for having had the good fortune to have come across you._ _For our part, we simply wish to say thank you. It’s been an amazing process for our children and we will never forget how this has positively impacted them. We feel it’s helping them to realize, with greater ease, their full potential. I recalled noticing all those books about music and sound on your bookcase and serendipity had it that for various reasons it became my career in addition to music and movement and meditation for adults. My understanding of the mind and body connection, was certainly enhanced by helping the boys with theirexercises.”_
