What we do Hunger has no place in 21st century Britain. We are working with more than 500 partners – as diverse as food banks and local community food organisations, politicians and businesses – to make sure it becomes a thing of the past. WANDSWORTH COMMUNITY FOOD BUS The issue. In Wandsworth there are large communities living in severe deprivation with little access to fresh food at affordable prices. In 2016-2017 the number of people receiving emergency food from Wandsworth Food Bank increased by 16%, equating to nearly three times more than the annual increase reported by the Trussell Trustnationally.

GREENWICH - FEEDING BRITAIN A partnership between Feeding Britain and Home-Start Greenwich was formed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the aim of distributing a varied range of nutritionally balanced cooked meals to vulnerable families. Working in collaboration with local caterer First Choice Caribbean Hut Lunches, Home-Start Greenwich delivered delicious meals including chilli con carne, pasta bakes, GLASGOW - FEEDING BRITAIN Threehills Citizens’ Supermarket A key part of Feeding Britain’s strategy for addressing the social and economic consequences of COVID-19 is the development of affordable food provision at the heart of each community. The pilot was set up to address food poverty as a key theme within Leicester’s Food Plan.
