Francesco Rampa, an Italian national, is Head of Programme at ECDPM. He heads the Sustainable Food Systems team of ECDPM’s Economic and Agricultural Transformation programme. The situation repeatedly led to heated debates among policymakers, but also in the media and in many European living rooms. Originally from Scotland, he heads the African Institutions and Regional Dynamics Programme of the Economic and Agricultural Transformation programme at UNDERSTANDING THE AFRICAN UNION 6 Council, which, supported by the Permanent Representatives’ Committee with all permanent ambassadors of the African member states to the AU, prepare the agenda and decision making process.
