FROM THE ARCHIVE: BUSHGREEN MEETS SEBASTIAN BORN Impossible question to answer, but high on the list would be the 7:84 production of Men Should Weep at the Edinburgh Festival in the 1980s and Robert Holman’s German Skerries at the Bush in 1976. Sebastian is the Associate Director (Literary) at the National Theatre. He was the first literary manager at the Bush from 1981 – 1985. EMERGING WRITERS GROUP Emerging Writers Group. 17 Dec 2015 | Playwriting. Today we’re presenting the first sharing of work by our inaugural Emerging Writers Group. The EWG is an opportunity for us to develop relationships with new playwrights we encounter through our unsolicited submissions process and further afield – all of whom are at early stages intheir careers.
INTRODUCING LYNETTE LINTON AS OUR NEW ARTISTIC DIRECTOR We are thrilled to announce that Lynette Linton will become our new Artistic Director in January 2019. Lynette has made her name as a groundbreaking director and writer. She was previously Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse and Associate Director at the Gate Theatre from 2016 to 2017 where she set up the YoungAssociate company.
