Hey, Army Engineer community, pull up a chair, we need to have a little chat about how we talk about our own history. Somehow, we always let the infantry, armor, and field artillery take center stage when it comes to talking about badass historical figures. GOOD INTENTIONS DO NOT A GOOD COMMANDER MAKE There I was, in my second year of command, feeling confident and competent. A dangerous concoction. We'd knocked out a great JRTC rotation, the company was firing on all cylinders, and I thought everything was golden. It was drill weekend and we were knocking out the M-4 range as well as some other tasks. Ahead MENTAL HEALTH IN THE MILITARY: A PARABLE Mental Health in the Military: A Parable. Sometimes, as you trod along the road of life, you look up, trying to get a glimpse of what lies ahead. Sometimes it’s dark and gloomy, and you realize it’s been been growing so for some time. There isn’t much to see.
