Billing & Payments. The WMLP issues utility bills for electricity, water and sewer each month. The Town is split into five (5) sections with meters being read throughout the month. MUNICIPAL LIGHT PLANT The Wellesley Municipal Light Plant (WMLP) is a Town-owned entity established to provide low cost, safe and reliable electricity to Wellesley residents and businesses. Wellesley has electric rates that are among the lowest in Massachusetts while also providing highly reliable service. The WMLP issues utility bills for electricity, water and sewer each month. The Assessor's Office maintains property characteristics on over 8,300 properties in their CAMA (Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal) system. The properties are inspected on a regular schedule to reflect changes, primarily as a result of building permits. The Building Department is committed to providing a superior customer experience and ensuring public safety through compliance with all state building/construction, plumbing and electrical laws, and conformance to applicable Town and Zoning Bylaws.BILLING & PAYMENTS
Billing & Payments. The WMLP issues utility bills for electricity, water and sewer each month. The Town is split into five (5) sections with meters being read throughout the month. Bills are due 30 days from the bill date but an early payment discount is offered on the electric portion of your bill, if paid within 15 days of the billissue date.
RECYCLING & DISPOSAL FACILITY (RDF) Recycling & Disposal Facility (RDF) The Recycling and Disposal Facility is Wellesley's transfer station and recycling center. The RDF is open to all residents with a valid permit. To apply online for an RDF permit, please click here. DOG LICENSES
Pursuant to M.G.L. c.140 § § 136A-174E and Town Bylaw Article 49, Animal Control Regulations, all dogs over 6 months old residing in Wellesley must be licensed by the Town Clerk. Dog owners and keepers shall renew each dog license annually by April 1st.
