FESTIVALS AND EVENTS Better known as ‘Hillywood’, the Rwanda Film Festival has been bringing films from around Rwanda, Africa and the world to Kigali every July for more than 10 years now. While the festival is based in Kigali, they also take the show on the road to villages and towns across Rwanda, where they screen films and hold workshops for the public with their own pop-up cinema. Akagera National Park. The relatively warm and low-lying plains of Akagera comprise savannah, woodland, wetland and a dozen lakes. In partnership with African Parks, we have reintroduced lions and rhinos, meaning once again visitors can hope to see the Big Five on safaridrives. Know more.

As of 1 st January 2018, nationals of all countries receive a visa on arrival at Kigali International Airport and all land borders.. Costs. A single entry tourist visa costs US $50 (exclusions apply for select countries and is valid for 30 days.; A single entry conference visa costs US $30 and is valid for 30 days. REAL ESTATES AND CONSTRUCTION Overview. The real estate sector is a crucial sector and a potential driver of future economic growth. The sector contributed 647 Billion Rwandan Francs to the national GDP in 2019, in 2019/2018, the sector grew by 4%, because of sustained expansion in private constructions and public works. A small town on the border with the DRC, with views across to the Congolese city of Bukavu. Rusizi is the closest town to Nyungwe National Park, which is about an hour’s drive away. KING’S PALACE
A reconstruction of the traditional royal residence, the King’s Palace is a beautifully-crafted thatched dwelling shaped like a beehive. In olden times, Nyanza was the heart of Rwanda. According to oral tradition, it was the site of battles and power struggles. For a long time, the monarchy was mobile, moving the court between variouslocations.
