WHEEL SIZE & OFFSET HELP 225s on an 8 inch rim will not be a stretch. The evo x comes with 245s on a 8.5 rim and nowhere near stretching. I put my stock 245s on a 9.5 rim and it was a slight strech. You can put the factory tires on those wheels with no problem and have a slight strech. BOV HOSE? | VELOSTER TURBO FORUM A while back I installed a genuine HKS Super SQV BOV. I used a 7/32 size hose for the install and I gotta tell ya it was loud. But today I installed a new Mac BOV sensor and I had to change the hose to a longer one and I used the one that came with the sensor. I noticed it was a little smaller KNOCKING OVER SHARP BUMPS Aiden. So for a couple months now I've been having this extremely annoying knocking noise coming from somewhere in the front end over sharp dips/bumps in the road. As a preface, I drive a 2016 Veloster Turbo on Ksport Coilovers, and the front suspension is all stock except for the coilovers, which are about 4-5 months old. STOCK / BOLT-ONS / TUNED Its well known that stock, we pull right around 14.8 - 15.2, 1/4 mile depending on temp / location. I personally pulled a 15.0 flat several times when my car was stock (6M). What have others achieved? Is it safe to assume people with full bolt ons putting down 210whp / CAN'T CLEAR A CODE WITH OBD2 SCANNER Orders coming in left and right, super busy, etc. This code is just an annoyance, nothing is going to happen if it is thrown. I am surprised you can't clear it though as I have never had a problem clearing it. I probably clear it once a week. I have read in other threads that 225 may rub when you turn the wheel at full. Edit - I meant to say would be a bit softer on the 225s.RESETTING ECU?

Even though the stock exhaust pipe routing and size are pretty good, they are still not optimal, even with a muffler delete/resonator replacement. Deleting the stock muffler and re-routing the piping with stainless from the axle to the tips will probably cost around250-300$.
HIGH RPM ENGINE CUT-OUT Hi all, hope you find yourselves well this Saturday. Long-time lurker here, bought my 13 VT in April of 2016. I love my car. Having a problem lately with the engine cutting out hard at high-RPM (5500 - 6000). I replaced the fuel line with an upgraded aftermarket and I'm still having the problem REAR HATCH WON'T OPEN! HELP! My hatch /trunk won't open or unlock with the FOB key and by pressing on the latch itself under the rear badge. I tried turning on and off the valet mode, still the hatch won't open. the only way i could open is by pulling the rear seats down and crawling to reach the emergencyhatch thingamabob
OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE NOT SHOWING HellHunter. What you need to do, is remove your front bumper to get access to the sensor which is below center in front of radiator. Just unplug both sensor plugs and if you have a air compressor just blow air into both male and female connector then re-plug them back in. It'll be wider and a little taller (you won't even notice the lift maybe). Besides, 235 rim width range is 8" to a 9.5". It shouldn't be mounted on a 18x7.5. Not sure if I should post this here or in the "Problems" section. I'm going to try and describe this the best I can. I keep putting off doing anything about it b/c I don't want to sound crazy. There are times when it feels like debris is getting stuck between my brake pads and rotor (I guess?) If you look at the size of the amp, fuse, and info listed you're probably talking at most 50w per a speaker rms and more realistically 20w per a speaker and 30w to the subwoofer. QUICK QUESTION: WHICH COOLANT? The coolant is H-OATS and any other coolant will cause chemical reactions with the existing coolant in the engine. All Hyundais have run H-OATS for many years, and that's different to glycol which has been around since the 1920s. Not sure if I should post this here or in the "Problems" section. I'm going to try and describe this the best I can. I keep putting off doing anything about it b/c I don't want to sound crazy. Well out of nowhere cruising on the highway regular speeds, i get an onslaught of stumbles from the engine when under engine load no backfires or strange noises, at first I was like oh wtf did I blow a boost hose off or something, nope. The passenger side broke first and the driver side a few weeks later. I'm talking about the U shaped clamp. REAR HATCH WON'T OPEN! HELP! My hatch /trunk won't open or unlock with the FOB key and by pressing on the latch itself under the rear badge. I tried turning on and off the valet mode, still the hatch won't open. the only way i could open is by pulling the rear seats down and crawling to reach the emergencyhatch thingamabob

CLUNKING FROM FRONT END Joined Sep 27, 2015. ·. 235 Posts. #27 · Jul 29, 2017. I had clunking in the front end that was most noticeable over bumps and it was the sway bar bracket. The passenger side broke first and the driver side a few weeks later. I'm talking about the U shaped clamp. REAR HATCH WON'T OPEN! HELP! My hatch /trunk won't open or unlock with the FOB key and by pressing on the latch itself under the rear badge. I tried turning on and off the valet mode, still the hatch won't open. the only way i could open is by pulling the rear seats down and crawling to reach the emergencyhatch thingamabob
