BACKYARDER INFORMATION SURVEY Umtha was asked by the City of Cape Town to conduct a Customer Satisfaction and Services related research survey in order to provide them with comprehensive and integrated information on backyard dwellers in the City of Cape Town in 2017. 4322 surveys were conductedin the process.
BARDALE LOW-COST HOUSING PROJECT The aim of this project was to facilitate the communication and relocation of beneficiaries from emergency prone areas, such as those living along the railway line in Khayelitsha, on SANRAL land in Strand, etc. to serviced sites in Bardale, Phase 1 – Phase 5. NONTOBEKO ROSEMARY JACOBS Nontobeko holds Honours in Business Management and Administration from The University of Stellenbosch Business School. She obtained postgraduate certificates in Management Practice and Organisational Development from Rhodes University and the Graduate Facility of the New School of Social Research (New York) respectively.THANDOKAZI MSUTHU

Umtha’s objectives included: Conducting a demographic survey and providing a database for the identified informal settlements in Stellenbosch;Ensuring that
WATER AND SANITATION CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY TRAINING Umtha was required to recruit survey workers that would conduct the Water and Sanitation Customer Satisfaction Survey, and also provide them with training on how to go about conducting the survey. LAND AFFAIRS: LRAD PROGRAMME Umtha was involved in the Vukani Ma-Afrika Project, the Masizakhe Farmers Trust Project and other projects associated with the Land Affairs LRAD Programme.
