– Det vil vera skadeleg å flytta Rikshospitalet til Ullevål – Det viktigaste for UiO er at dei ikkje flyttar Rikshospitalet ned til Ullevål fordi det er det som ville vera skadeleg ikkje berre for oss, men for Oslo universitetssykehus og Rikshospitalet også. Ny årsrekord for doktorgrader i 2018 I fjor ble det avlagt 1.564 doktorgrader ved norske læresteder. Det er en økning på 5 prosent sammenlignet med antallet uteksaminerte i2017.

Strategi 2030 - utkast sendt på høring I over 200 år har Universitetet i Oslo formet det norske samfunnet og bidratt til kunnskapsutvikling internasjonalt. Vi har utdannet kandidater til nøkkelposisjoner både i og utenfor landets grenser. Den langsiktige og grunnleggende forskningen og koblingen mellom forskning og utdanning er bærende for UiO som kunnskapsinstitusjon.02.10.19
Hvordan reparere et ødelagt arbeidsmiljø? Den langvarige konflikten på Institutt for historiske studier ved NTNU er en trist og krevende sak for alle involverte. Rektors hovedfokus nå er å gjenopprette et forsvarlig arbeidsmiljø. Det finnes ingen enkel løsning eller fasitsvar på hvordan dette kan gjøres, men vi vet at det vil kreve mye arbeid og innsats fra alle involverte. Som arbeidsgiver og ledelse har vi et ansvar for at detteskjer.
