ABOUT THE WOMEN'S LIBRARY The Women’s Library in Sydney is a lending library and welcoming community space open to all women. The library houses a vast collection of books and periodicals about women and written by women. Building the collection started in 1991 and the library first openedin June 1994.

VIRTUAL EVENTS AT THE WOMEN'S LIBRARY The Women’s Library Film Club discussion is held fortnightly, starting at 18:00 on Sunday evening. Annaliese Legge, Committee Member and Volunteer Coordinator at The Women’s Library, selects a film that has been creatively influenced by women producers, directors, or writers (and often all of these) for us to watch and discuss. VOLUNTEER - THE WOMEN'S LIBRARY The Women’s Library has vacancies for volunteers from time to time. We ask volunteers to make a six month commitment when they start volunteering, so that we can provide consistent service to our patrons. If you are unable to make this commitment, but would still like to help The Women’s Library, please submit a general enquiry.DONATIONS POLICY
Membership of The Women's Library for 2020-2021 is $20.00 per annum, but if this is beyond your means, you are eligible for the $5.50 concession membership.
