Aim to walk 4-6 miles 3 days per week with a fourth walk progressing up to 8-11 miles. The day following your longer walk, ensure a lighter exercise session is completed eg. comfortable walking (approx. 30 mins). Ensure at least one rest day is included during your week. The Edinburgh Kiltwalk has gone Virtual! Due to the ongoing pandemic, we have made the difficult, but well-informed decision to cancel this year's Kiltwalk events.THE KILTWALK
As the entry fee for the new Dundee Virtual walkers is £12 (plus processing fee) and the Dundee Kiltwalk 2020 Mighty Stride and Big Stroll registration fee is £30 (plus processing fee), we are offering to donate the difference of £18 to your chosen charity. If you used a promo code during registration for the Dundee Kiltwalk, the result ofTHE KILTWALK
13 plus miles and climbing 3 off the Sidlaw Hills on route. We have a team of about 40 people doing a variety of distances and activities over the 3 days. All money raised by Kiltwalkers must come through the Kiltwalk before we pay out the funds to your charity as this is the only way we can gather an accurate figure on how much has collectively been raised, which is vital in order to add the 50% top-up. The Kiltwalk fundraising platform (underwritten by The Hunter Foundation) has been designed to turbocharge fundraising. Kiltwalks are mass participation walking events that raise much-needed funds for Scottish charities and projects. Every year our events take place across Scotland - Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh.THE KILTWALK
All money raised by Kiltwalkers must come through the Kiltwalk before we pay out the funds to your charity as this is the only way we can gather an accurate figure on how much has collectively been raised, which is vital in order to add the 50% top-up. Aim to walk 4-6 miles 3 days per week with a fourth walk progressing up to 8-11 miles. The day following your longer walk, ensure a lighter exercise session is completed eg. comfortable walking (approx. 30 mins). Ensure at least one rest day is included during your week.
