When he started his own family, Nisly knew he too wanted to raise chickens.So, a little more than 25 years ago, he and his wife Lucy started a chicken farm, selling eggs, chickens and turkeys. MARVIN E. WARKENTINE Marvin E. Warkentine, 86, died Friday (Dec. 11, 2009) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born on April 23, 1923, in Goessel to Henry and Katie (Schmidt) Warkentine. On April 19, 1947, he married Thelma Manka in Peabody. She survives at the home. Marvin was a member of Peabody United Methodist Church. He retired as crew chief fromHesston Corp.
