This week’s features -Aunt Betty’s Famous Ham Dressing, Strawberry Earthquake Cake, Red Beans and Rice and Mamaw’s Chicken and Rice Casserole. Your Hostesses Sweet Little Bluebird~ Mary South Your Mouth – Mandy The Country Cook~ Brandie Served Up With Love~ Melissa . EASY SLOW COOKER ORANGE CHICKEN Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken evenly in bottom of cooker. In a medium size bowl mix orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and ginger – mix well. Pour over chicken and mix well, coating evenly. Cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. 30 minutes before chicken is ready to serve, in a small bowl mix SLOW COOKER BEEF STROGANOFF (EASY) Directions. Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray, then place beef in a single layer. Add mushrooms, onion, pepper and both cans of soup and wine (optional), stir until well blended. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Adjust cooking time EASY BAKED TERIYAKI CHICKEN (BEST SAUCE EVER) Directions. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 9×9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray then place chicken thighs evenly in dish, season with pepper. Next pour milk over mixture, set aside, do not mix. LEMON CRAZY CAKE (NO EGGS, MILK OR BUTTER) 1 tsp. pure lemon extract. 5 Tbsp. vegetable oil. 1 Cup water. Directions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Mix first 5 dry ingredients in a greased 8″ square baking pan, starting with the flour first. Mix well. Next, place chicken in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, add olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and brown sugar and mix well, then pour over chicken. Toss chicken in marinade, coating evenly.THE PERFECT BAGEL
Dough. ½ teaspoon instant yeast. 3¾ cups unbleached high-gluten or bread flour. 2¾ teaspoons salt. 2 teaspoons malt powder or 1 tablespoon dark or light malt syrup, honey, or brown sugar. When ready, drain excess fat then add BAKED APPLE PIE TORTILLA ROLLS Directions. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Butter (grease) a 9×13 baking dish. Next, combined all of the dry ingredients in a bowl. Toss the sliced/diced apples in the lemon juice, then pour the dry mixture over apples. Stir the apples making sure they are coated well. Place a 1/2 cup of the apple mixture and spread in the center of a tortilla. QUICK & EASY SAUSAGE GRAVY AND BISCUITS Cook the flour and sausage mixture, stirring constantly for 3-5 minutes, until all the flour is absorbed by the fat. Last, slowly add milk, stirring continuously, bringing to a boil. Allow to boil until gravy thickens. Once thickened, salt and pepper to taste and serve over freshly baked split biscuits. *If the gravy is too thick, add asmall
