SANTA MARIA STYLE PINQUITO BEANS In 10 to 12-inch cast iron or heavy skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp, stirring frequently.Reduce heat to low.
PICKLED GARBANZO BEANS In small saucepan, toast seeds over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes or until fragrant, shaking frequently. Stir in vinegar and sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves. SHRIMP AND RED BEANS CREOLE In 2 1/2-quart saucepan, cook rice in water as directed on package. Set aside to keep warm. Meanwhile, in 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat butter and oil over medium heat.
