What is Special Olympics? The Special Olympics Kentucky Summer Games is the largest competitive event of the year as competition is conducted in 5 sports: Aquatics, Bocce, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Soccer and Track & Field. The Games are traditionally held the first weekend in June and take place on a college campus.UNIFIED SPORTS
Unified Sports is an important program because it expands sports opportunities for athletes and partners seeking new challenges. The team includes 40 athletes, one unified partner and 16 coaches.
