BEST MONOPOD HEADS IN 2021 Kirk MP-A2. Kirk MP-A2 Monopod Head. The Kirk MP-A2 is a beautifully built product with large glove-friendly controls and an incredibly smooth tilting action based around self-lubricating Delrin composite bearings. These types of composite bearings are great when you want a product to be simple and maintenance-free. A GUIDE TO PHOTOGRAPHING FROM A KAYAK Kayak #1 – Wilderness Systems Commander 120. The Commander is a fishing kayak, and that means that it’s designed to be stable enough to stand up in and cast a rod. Of course, this also makes it an excellent and very stable photography platform which is why I chose it. The back section of the kayak is also sized to hold a cooler andfishing
PERGEAR 12MM F/2 LENS REVIEW The Pergear 12mm f/2 costs around $165 and is available with either a Sony E, Nikon Z, Fuji XF or micro Micro 4/3 mount. As the inclusion of the latter two mount types indicates, this lens is APS-C and not full frame. However, for this review, I will be using it on my full-frame Sony mirrorless cameras and using the built-in APS-C mode. REALLY RIGHT STUFF UPDATES THEIR GROUND-LEVEL TRIPOD: TFA-32G A – It’s made from aluminum. 3 – It’s considered to support weight in the 3-series territory (50lbs) 2 – It has 2 leg sections. G – It’s a ground-level tripod designed for low-level work. TFA-32G with legs fully extended. There don’t appear to be major differences to the original version and at first I REALLY RIGHT STUFF ASCEND-14 VS. PEAK DESIGN TRAVEL TRIPOD At least up to the point where you consider raising the centre column. In my mind, this still makes the TFC-14 a very relevant tripod. It’s essentially an Ascend but without the fancy centre column, and about $400-500 cheaper! I have made this point before BEST ACCESSORIES FOR THE PEAK DESIGN TRAVEL TRIPOD The Peak Design Travel Tripod is a popular ultralight tripod that’s available in either aluminum or carbon. As well as selling the tripod, Peak Design also offer several different accessories for the tripod so today I thought I would discuss these, as well as throwing in bonus third-part accessory that can protect your new investment from salt water, sand and dirt. MINDSHIFT ROTATION 50L+ REVIEW The Stash Master Pro is an optional accessory that is designed specifically for the Rotation 50L+. It will not fit into any other bags in the rotation range. It retails for $74.95. This insert slots into the top of the bag and gives you the option to really load it up with additional camera gear. USING THE CANON EF 100-400 F/4.5-5.6 L IS II WITH A 1.4X Whilst I have my big Canon 200-400mm with me, I’ve mainly been shooting with the Canon 7D Mark II and the amazing Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS II. This combination get’s me to a 640mm equivalent field of view in a hand-holdable package. In the right light, the image quality is every bit as good as the $12,000+ 200-400mm lens (myCanon 200
CANON CONTROL RING MOUNT ADAPTER EF-EOS R REVIEW The Control Ring is a feature that can be found on all of the new native RF lenses for the EOS R system, and as the name suggests, the Control Ring Adapter adds this same feature to EF and EF-S lenses when used on an EOS R camera.SHUTTER MUSE

A COMPLETE LIST OF FUJIFILM GF LENSES AND THEIR The GF 32-64mm lens was one of the three lenses that launched with the original Fujifilm GFX 50S medium format camera. This standard zoom lens covers a focal range that is equivalent to a 25-51mm lens in full-frame 35mm terms. For landscape and travel photography, this gives you a very versatile walk-around lens option. HOW TO AVOID STAR TRAILS What this says though is that the maximum exposure time you can have before your starts start to become blurred is equal to 500/ (your focal length in 35mm equivalent). Example: If I had a 24mm lens on 1.5x crop Nikon camera my maximum exposure time would be 500/ (24×1.5) = 14 seconds. Now the shortness of this exposure time cancatch people
PERGEAR 12MM F/2 LENS REVIEW The Pergear 12mm f/2 costs around $165 and is available with either a Sony E, Nikon Z, Fuji XF or micro Micro 4/3 mount. As the inclusion of the latter two mount types indicates, this lens is APS-C and not full frame. However, for this review, I will be using it on my full-frame Sony mirrorless cameras and using the built-in APS-C mode. CANON CONTROL RING MOUNT ADAPTER EF-EOS R REVIEW The Control Ring is a feature that can be found on all of the new native RF lenses for the EOS R system, and as the name suggests, the Control Ring Adapter adds this same feature to EF and EF-S lenses when used on an EOS R camera. THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO EXTENDERS OR TELECONVERTERS Extenders, also often called teleconverters, are optical accessories that attach to the rear end of a lens to increase the focal length. As you’ve probably guessed, the number represents the factor by which the focal length getsmultiplied.
NIKON 500MM F/5.6 PF REVIEW Shot with D500 plus 1.4x teleconverter at 1/1250th, f/8, ISO 560. While the 500mm f/5.6 PF is far from ‘cheap’ at $4,699 CAD ($3600USD), it’s certainly an interesting and intriguing alternative to beasts like the traditional 500mm f/4 that comes in at an eye-watering $12,899 CAD or the budget-friendly $1,799 CAD Nikon200-500mm f/5.6

REVIEW: SHUTTERCHECK Conclusion. This is a fairly short review by my standards, but it’s a simple app and everything has been covered! It’s still beyond me why Canon don’t just make this information readily available in the camera’s menu system, but it’s good to know that there’s a simple, cheap app out there that can help you out. REALLY RIGHT STUFF ASCEND-14 VS. PEAK DESIGN TRAVEL TRIPOD At least up to the point where you consider raising the centre column. In my mind, this still makes the TFC-14 a very relevant tripod. It’s essentially an Ascend but without the fancy centre column, and about $400-500 cheaper! I have made this point before NIKON D500 AND NIKKOR 200-500MM F/5.6 The Nikon D500 and AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
