STATION COVE FALLS
An easy, 30-minute hike through a gorgeous Appalachian cove forest takes you to Station Cove Falls, a stepped 60-foot waterfall that forms from headwaters atop Station Mountain. In the spring and summer, countless wildflowers bloom along the trail. You may see trillium, mayapple, pink lady’s slipper orchids, bloodroot, and redbud. PEAK TO PROSPERITY PASSAGE Summary: The Peak to Prosperity Passage proceeds west from the Alston trailhead in Fairfield County across the impressive Broad River trestle. The view from the 1,100-foot-long bridge is spectacular, especially when bald eagles soar. Across the river in Newberry County, the rail-trail skirts Peak and cuts an easy swath through piedmontforest

The trail at Wildcat Wayside starts off with a steep set of stairs climbing right beside a small, but beautiful, waterfall. Directions: From the junction of 1-95 and I-20 in Florence, drive east on David McLeod Boulevard (Business Spur I-20) and turn right on West Palmetto Street (US 76). Drive 2.5 miles and turn right onto Old Ebenezer Road. Drive .5 mile to the sharp left curve in the road, and turn right at the drive. The parking area is at the post-and-railfence.

WACCAMAW NECK BIKEWAY (BIKE THE NECK) The Waccamaw Neck Bikeway is a flat paved path that runs alongside US 17 from Murrells Inlet to Sandy Island Road near Huntington Beach State Park. You can ride or walk from Pawleys Island to Murrells Inlet by using sections of the completed trail and roads with Share the Road signs. WEST ASHLEY GREENWAY Although flat and easy, the 10.5-mile, out-and-back West Ashley Greenway is a gem of a trail in the southwest part of Charleston. Wonders’ Way is the 2.7-mile bike/pedestrian path on the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, where you can enjoy views spanning from Folly Beach to the Isle of Palms.The 12’ wide path is named Wonders’ Way in memory of Garrett Wonders, a man who died in a bicycle-vehiclecollision.
LEE FALLS - SCTRAILS GPS and Coordinates. One of Oconee County’s most scenic waterfalls, this 75-foot high falls has no official trail. But hikers and hunters have been making the difficult, 1.5 mile trip here for hundreds of years. Tamassee Creek feeds the falls and the surrounding vegetation which includes botanical rarities such as Oconee bells and bulbletferns.
PETERS CREEK HERITAGE PRESERVE Peters Creek Heritage Preserve covers 160 acres in Spartanburg County. This piedmont cove forest, with its rolling topography, an old mill dam, two creeks and walking trails, is a pleasant and peaceful place to visit. The East Coast Greenway is the nation’s longest connected biking and walking route, linking communities from Maine to Florida. In South Carolina, the East Coast Greenway stays near the coast through the state’s low country, bringing travelers through Myrtle Beach,WEST ASHLEY BIKEWAY

Before long, weeds and rats took over and it became a collection ENOREE OHV - SCTRAILS The Enoree Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Trail travels along rolling piedmont hills and pine forests. Pets. No Fee. No Camping. Summary: On the descent from the trailhead, it’s hard to envision the magic that Stevens Creek Heritage Preserve promises. Then as the plunge downhill accelerates, there is a shift in the air. RIVERFRONT PARK & HISTORIC COLUMBIA CANAL Columbia's Riverfront Park is a component of the Palmetto Trail. Hours: Dawn to dusk. Directions: From downtown Columbia: Drive west to Huger Street and turn toward Interstate 26. At Laurel Street turn left (west). Laurel dead-ends into the parking area for Riverfront Park. The Eastatoe Passage is a recently completed almost five-mile section of South Carolina’s mountains-to-sea Palmetto Trail — that gives people access to a gorgeous protected wilderness. CAYCE / WEST COLUMBIA RIVERWALK Total capacity is about 50 people. The West Columbia Riverwalk is located between Gervais Street and Knox Abbott Drive running along. Its path accommodates all levels of physical access including baby carriages and wheelchairs. The Cayce / West Columbia Riverwalk is ISSAQUEENA - SCTRAILS This Clemson Experimental Forest trail is maintained with the help of the Greater Clemson Mountain Bikers Club. Hours: Dawn till dusk. FALLS CREEK FALLS
It is only 1.7 miles to the falls, but the trail ascents approximately 600 feet during this strenuous hike. But the view is worth the effort as this waterfall has a great deal of large flat ledges that makes this one of the finest waterfalls in the Mountain Bridge Wilderness WACCAMAW NECK BIKEWAY (BIKE THE NECK) The Waccamaw Neck Bikeway is a flat paved path that runs alongside US 17 from Murrells Inlet to Sandy Island Road near Huntington Beach State Park. You can ride or walk from Pawleys Island to Murrells Inlet by using sections of the completed trail and roads with Share the Road signs. There are 6 miles of continuous trail and two sections of COX FERRY LAKE RECREATION AREA The Cox Ferry Lake Recreation Area is a 325-acre property located on Gary Lake Boulevard, in Conway, South Carolina It offers the public three miles of interpretive nature trails, a mountain biking trail, boardwalk, kiosks and a weather shelter with picnic tables.BACHE MONUMENT
