WELCOME TO ROOT BEER RESPECT One day as I was pondering my existence, the thought came to me, “life is far too short and precious to spend it not knowing which root beer is the best.”  I do not drink a lot of soda, but I have a great respect for root beer.  In that moment, thanks in large part to my genetic obsessive-compulsive tendencies, I resolved to seek out and test every bottled root beer, birch beer. and sarsaparilla (diet sodas excepeted) I could get my hands on.  I am well aware that there is an abundance of more complete and more informative root beer review sites on the inter-web.  However, I decided to create this blog to record my reviews and keep my thoughts in order as I search for the best root flavors.  There are, after all, _LOTS AND LOTS_ of root beer brands.

I’m currently on my 35th type of root beer (drinking a Hippo birch beer right now in fact)! Looking forward to seeing some reviews on the brands out on the west coast that I can’t get my hands on. We definitely need to be friends! When I have some time I can’t wait to read through your blog and website. It will be fun to see which rb’s you have that I don’t and vice versa.
