ROCK CANYON ELEMENTARY INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC Band and Orchestra music has a long and rich tradition, and learning to play an instrument is a truly rewarding way to experience music. Studies also continually show an increased level of achievement on standardized testing for students who learn to play an instrument, and that the longer the student plays the instrument, the higher the achievement will be.COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Beginning Orchestra. Beginning Orchestra is available to all 4th & 5th Grade students in the Rock Canyon feeder area. In this class, students will learn how to assemble, care for, and begin to play an instrument. ROCK CANYON ELEMENTARY INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC This would help with reducing costs - students would pay for instruction and the $50 fee per semester, compared to renting an instrument for between $20 - 100 per month and also paying tuition.
