SHORT COURSES: JOHNNY'S STORY In 2020, as the world adjusted to socialising and learning in a virtual world, RADA' s ever-popular short courses programme moved online.. As theatres shuttered their doors, Johnny O'Donnell, an actor from Northern Ireland, trained with members of RADA's faculty on courses including Shakespeare in Action and Stanislavski: Physical Action from his own home. SHAKESPEARE SUMMER SCHOOL: ONLINE The Shakespeare Summer School is our longest running short course. Launched over 40 years ago, and investigating Shakespeare from an actor's point of view, it is designed to cater for a wide range of ability and experience: for seasoned professionals; for those who may be contemplating full-time drama training; and for complete beginners. SHORT COURSES: VICTORIA'S STORY A catch-up with short courses student Victoria Chang. Last year actress Victoria Chang completed several of our popular online short courses, including Shakespeare in Action and Second Act, from her home in the US.The opportunity to work with members of RADA's experienced faculty was made possible for Victoria because all of the courses were delivered online – something that we continue to SHAKESPEARE GOLD AWARD You need to have gained your Shakespeare Silver Award to apply. Challenge yourself with the penultimate Shakespeare Award level: present two speeches and a sonnet, on sight, with 15 minutes preparation time. The assessment includes discussion time between you and your RADA tutor before you* Courses
