PATCHWORK TIMES BY JUDY LAQUIDARA I'm so happy we're back to eating mostly at home again. We agreed to eat breakfast out once a week and dinner out once a week. Tonight we had corn (from the store), kale and garlic scapes from our CSA bag this week, and that was topped with scallops with a lemon/chickenbroth sauce.

MONEY LEAKS
January 5, 2020
Vince sent this email with the attached article. Notice that he thinks yarn should be #8 on the "Money Leaks and How to Plug Them" list. The article is at AARP. I'm not a huge fan of the organization but we are members and obviously, Vince reads their articles. In my mind, it's like Finance 101 - don't pay bank fees; don't pay credit card late fees; don't waste food. Honestly, if you're ...Read More

THE REASONING OF A CHILDJanuary 4, 2020
We spent another day at the apartment working today. I had not bought a mop and yesterday Addie opened a squeeze pop thing of juice, spilled a tiny bit but it doesn't take much of something that sticky to make a mess, tracked it all over the kitchen and didn't say anything.
