REVIEWS BACH 50B BASS TROMBONE Bach LT50B3O Trombone. Also known as the Bach 50b, Bach 50B, Bach 50b3, or Bach 50b3o, the Bach LT50B3O is a fantastic independent double trigger bass trombone. I use the 9 ½ inch bell model for more focus of sound. The 10 ½ inch bell model is a bit too big for me. The independent triggers offer more alternate position options which ishandy
REVIEWS BACH TROMBONES BACH LT12 BACH LT16 The Bach 12 model is a great all around jazz trombone. With a .500 bore, it has a fuller tone that the Bach 8 and is hotter sounding than the Bach 16M. I’ve had both a yellow and a gold brass bell on the 12, and I like the tone of the gold brass bell more on it. It’s still hot, but a little richer sounding. EUPHONIUM MOUTHPIECE PLACEMENTS 3) Center Placement: The mouthpiece inside rim is centered between both lips, so it is or close to a 50/50 embouchure. Center Placement is a bit of a cross between the other two placements. It is like High Placement in that the air stream bends down more as you ascend, but is like Low Placement in that the lips slide down for high and back upTROMBONE TIPS

The Bach 6 ½ AL is one of the best trombone mouthpiece sizes for students. It is a good, medium-deep size mouthpiece that will continue to be the right size for many students as they get older. Some students will need to move to a larger mouthpiece by high school, such as a Bach 5G, but many will not. REVIEW MARTIN TROMBONE 4501, URBIE GREEN MODEL The Martin sounds great in a microphone or in the room, and easily shifts from as smooth to as gutsy as you want to go. It is one of my favorite small bore horns because it does exactly what you tell it to do. What an absolute joy the Urbie Green trombone is to play!" This instrument review was with a Monette TS 6 Slap mouthpiece. BACH TROMBONES BACH LT6 BACH LT8G REVIEWS They both are quite enjoyable to play in the right context and situation. This instrument review was with a Monette TS 11 mouthpiece. The Bach 8 model is a smaller .490 bore trombone similar in size to the King 2B. As with Bach in general, it is a heavier horn than the 2B. I tend to over blow the 2B a bit, so the 8 is more to my taste. REVIEWS BACH 42B TROMBONE The Bach 42 model is a wonderful symphonic trombone. A bit heavier than a Conn 88H or King 4B but not as heavy as theYamaha Xeno, it has a fine projection and presence that holds up well to great dynamic contrast. I like both the yellow and gold brass bells; it just depends on which way I want the tone to lean – brighter or darker. For me, it plays more like a big small bore horn than a little large bore horn. The Bach model 39 is an Eb alto trombone built on the Eb harmonic series instead of the Bb harmonic series, so it is a higher pitched instrument than the other trombones.
