Museum Coronavirus Impact Survey NEMA is gathering information about the impacts of the Coronavirus outbreak on museums' economic and educational plans; specifically losses in revenue, employment, and educational opportunities. We will be analyzing and sharing this data regionally and on a state-by-state basis, with our museum colleagues as well as press and state agencies. Thank you for your assistance in helping us tell the story of COVID-19 and its effects on the museum field. The survey will close on April 28, 2020. Take the survey here. INFORMATION FOR THE MUSEUM FIELD ON THE COVID-19/CORONAVIRUS Like all of you, the NEMA team is responding to the rapidly-changing situation regarding the coronavirus/COVID-19. We want you to know, first and foremost, that we sincerely hope that you and your institutions are staying safe and healthy. With that in mind, here are some things you may want to know that NEMA is doing to address the situation. We have a list of COVID-19 resources available here and will be updating the page regularly with news as it affects the museum community. NEMA OFFICE AND STAFF UPDATES Starting Friday (March 13), the NEMA staff will be working remotely. Since our workplace culture for several years has embraced telecommuting, this should have minimal impact on the services we provide you.
