------------------------- The Polychaete Fauna of Aurora Province As part of the Faunal Survey of Aurora Province, the study entitled gThe Polychaete Fauna of Aurora Provinceh was first implemented in Baler last July 23, to August 1, 2010. From the preliminary survey, about 20 species belonging to 14 families were identified from the polychaete specimens collected. The recent findings showed no significant discoveries. Bautista recovered the remains of a leatherback sea turtle in the sandy shore of Barangay Caraosan, Bula, Camarines Sur on August 2, 2019. With the assistance of officials from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Municipality of Bula, the members of the NMP team, namely, Roberto Balarbar, Maria Josefa S. Veluz, Evelyn U. Mendoza, Eddie I. Codino, Clien Yvan Ongkiatco and Remson Fortuna, were able to recover and to apply initial conservation measures on the leatherback turtle 6 days after it was buried on July 8, 2018.
