After completing undergraduate and graduate degrees in humanities and English, Dr. Talbot taught secondary English for 16 years before returning to school at “mid-life” to JESSICA JOST-COSTANZO Dr. Jessica Jost-Costanzo began her journey in higher education in the field of Anthropology, earning her B.A. in Anthropology from Catholic University in 1992. She furthered her interest in the study of humanity, though, not by pursuing Anthropology as a graduate student but, rather, English literature. CRITICALLY THINKING ABOUT CRITICAL THINKING Critical thinking is often a term heard by students, but it is not always openly discussed. Students are encouraged to develop critical thinking skills, but it can be difficult to gain skills that are not fully understood.
