We partner with retailers in our community and our donors receive donations. Donations or Sponsorship Opportunities (972) 596-0253. Volunteer Opportunities SPONSOR A TRUCK: TEAM BUILDING EXPERIENCE Commitment. OUR PROGRAMS - DRIVE THRU SERVICE Serving families with dignity, integrity and respect. When the pandemic arrived we had to change the way we serve our community. For years, we took pride in offering the red carpet treatment to the families that we serve. Minnie's Food Pantry started our contact free serving experience. We went GIVE FOOD - MINNIE'S FOOD PANTRY Host a Food Drive. Hosting a drive is the perfect way to partner with Minnie's Food Pantry and join the fight against hunger. When it comes to feeding families, your drive is an easy way to collect non-perishable food items and make a difference in the lives of thefamilies we serve.

OUR PROGRAMS - MOBILE SERVICE We are proud to deliver food to senior citizens, veterans and the homeless. We partner monthly with senior living facilities to deliver food to their residence. For over five years Minnie's Food Pantry has delivered food to our senior citizens neighbors in need. We witnessed five senior citizens getting out of ataxi cab one
WHO IS MINNIE?
Who is Minnie? Minnie's Food Pantry was founded by Dr. Cheryl Jackson to honor her mother, the late Minnie Hawthorne-Ewing D.D. on April 1st, 2008. Minnie Ewing was a mother pastor, and community leader. She raised nine children and taught each one the importance of giving back and giving the best you had. Contact Us 2020: Our Impact We started off the year with a 6-month waiting list for people to volunteer and were running our food pantry, educational programs, and partnerships as usual. On March 16th everything changed. MINNIE’S FOOD PANTRY: FEEDING FAMILIES Over the last decade, Minnie’s Food Pantry has been providing healthy meals, educational resources and red-carpet treatment to every person that has walked through our doors. From single parents trying to feed their children, to business executives who have been laid off, the face of hunger is changing daily as we see clients coming from all walks of life. But through it all, _Minnie’s Food Pantry remains a source of not only food, but encouragement and hope for all those we serve. _At Minnie’s Food Pantry, it is our job to ensure every person who walks through our doors are treated with the upmost dignity and respect as they receive healthy meals, fresh meats and fresh produce to prepare meals for their own families.0 Meals Served

Each program allows an opportunity for the community to become involved with making sure that their neighbor has access to one of life’s most basic necessities, and whether you enjoy serving seniors, children, veterans or the homeless community, Minnie’s Food Pantry offers programs that you can champion and become an advocatefor!
