Some stadiums have begun allowing attendance at limited capacity, causing many people to wonder if fans should be allowed at professional sporting events again. COVID-19 PUSHES AP TESTING ONLINE Instead, students can opt to take a 45-minute online exam at home. The Department of Education has cancelled a multitude of standardized tests, as officials recognize that this is not a priority. However, 91 percent of 18,000 AP students surveyed by the College Board wanted to retain the opportunity to earn credit. "LOVE, VICTOR" IS A VICTORY FOR LGBTQ+ YOUTH “Love, Victor” is a heartwarming Hulu series that touches on very real issues for LGBTQ+ teenagers, especially those living in less than accepting environments. JOE HOWLEY | SILVER CHIPS Joe Howley is a senior at Blair in the Communication Arts Program. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Online division of Chips and shares the Graphics Editorship with the infamous Brandon Proia. COUNTY COUNCIL MOVES TO REPEAL MANDATORY BIKE REGISTRATION After Silverman filmed and posted the incident on his Youtube channel, it was covered by Fox 5, Reason Magazine and several other outlets The coverage generated backlash, with residents upset about supposed waste of resources and over-policing. Delegate David Moon (D-District 20) posted the video on his Facebook page, referring to the law as "stupid" and "nonsense." * On Friday, July 12, 2019, MS. JENNIFER BACH, Blair social studies teacher, passed away. Several Blair students have created a short video to celebrate her memory . The death of a teacher is devastating for students, staff, and community; to help students manage the emotions that may arise after viewing the video, our school counselors are available to support students as needed. We also wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to Ms. Bach'sfamily.
