URGE PRESIDENT BIDEN TO RE-DESIGNATE TPS FOR HAITI Monday, May 24, is a national Day of Action for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haiti. Right now, vulnerable Haitians continue to be deported to a country where much of the population lives in poverty and where political violence and the ongoing pandemic make many fear for their lives. Temporary Protected Status (TPS) provides a legal pathway for Haitians to remain safely in the U.S SCRIPTURE REFLECTIONS The first Sunday of Advent 2015 falls just before the 35th anniversary of the martyrdom of the four North American churchwomen in El Salvador. However, in order to be sustainable and deliver real benefits to the communities and the environment directly affected, infrastructure projects need good governance, meaningful civil society participation, and real accountability.
