LIL' BUT MIGHTY
We are an online school that specialises in English education for Primary school children. Through our own unique strategies and a step-by-step approach in teaching, we hope to prepare children for English assessment in school and for English usage in the real world.CONFUSED BY VERBS
Verbs such as "st ea l", "b ou nce" and "c oo k" have 2 vowels that constitute the centre of the words. 1 ending consonant = There is no more than one consonant at the end of the verb. (e.g. jo g, ho p & ba t etc.) Verbs such as "ba th ", "kno ck " and "sta rt " have 2 ending consonants each. Words that end with consonants 'w', 'x' and 'y COMPOSITION REVISION: USING YOUR 5 SENSES IN YOUR WRITING Before we start, let’s see whether you can identify any of the 5 senses I have used to craft the descriptions in the paragraph above. They are: the sense of smell. the sense of hearing. the sense of sight. Let’s take a look at the same paragraph again. This time I have highlighted and labelled the sentences that show the use of these3 senses:
