Boundless Fabric. 05/12/2016 By Christie 2 Comments. I love to have a nice stash of solid colors, and this Boundless Fabric is simply beautiful. Sometimes all you need to add a little more character to your quilts is more color variation. This fabric bundles does not disappoint. I seriously love the rich colors and the variety ofshading.
NINJAGO PARTY: PART TWO Ninjago Party: Part Two. Onto the fun! I feel like the most effort should be put into the games since that is what my kids always look the most forward to and what they talk about after the party is over. While the guests arrived, we watched a pretty cheesy awesome karate training video Mr. Zippy has had for a while. WORDS TO LIVE BY: QUOTE BOARD DIY (WITH PRINTABLE) Print off the quotes HERE onto cardstock and cut out. They are 3.5” squares. Cut out a variety of shapes. I used mini glue dots to adhere my shapes to the quote squares. I also used the glue dots to stick the “Words To Live By” onto the wall. Not sure if that was so smart—hopefully it doesn’t damage the wall but I don’t think itwill.

Topstitch closely to the zipper. Repeat above steps for the other side of the zipper using the remaining outer and PUL pieces of fabric. Set the bag aside for now. Let’s make the strap. Fold the 4” x 14” strip in half and sew 1/4” seam along the long side. Open the seamand iron.
LONG MITTENS: A TUTORIAL Sew one end down with a couple straight stitches, making sure to backstitch. Then change to a zig-zag stitch and sew, stretching the elastic to meet the other side of the glove. Fold the mitten in half, matching sides, and pin. Stitch using a 1/4” seam. Note how for the thumb area, you sew a V. RED AND TURQUOISE QUILT + MINI TUTORIAL Ok, the quick HOW TO: -Cut 24 10″ squares of white (you’ll need 60″ + what you need for the sashing) -Choose four other fabrics for the remaining 15 squares, so 10″ of each and cut 15 total 10″ squares out of the four other fabrics chosen (but you will want to THE EASY PEASY SHIRT: TUTORIAL Unfold shirt and match corners, right sides together. Starting where the scissors are pointing, pin and sew ONE side seam together, using a 1/4” seam, leaving the armhole open. Open your shirt at the side seam so you’ll have one long strip of fabric, but not sewn at thearmholes.
GATHERED BELT TUTORIAL Place one of the corners on the end inside that fold, making sure the narrower side of the bias tape is on the gathered side. Then fold down over. Sew the bias tape closely to the edge, doing the same folding method you used above for the other end. Repeat with other raw edge of belt. Sew each bias tape piece used for the ties together to itself. DIAPER CLUTCH: TUTORIAL Place the lining and outer for the front of the clutch right sides together and sew 1/4” seam along the top only. Flip over, iron, and topstitch just along the top. Then layer your fabric. Place the flap outer fabric right side with the front of clutch outer fabric, thenBOW TIE TUTORIAL
Tuck the strap under the middle of the bow tie. Pull strap through. Take the velcro and sew on opposite sides of the long strap. Tuck in the raw edges before sewing on the velcro. I made sure to sew the scratchy side on the part that would have less contact with skin:). As always, let me know if you have any questions.
ADDING FLUTTER SLEEVES TO A TANK TOP: TUTORIAL The width of this piece of fabric is about 6”. Fold the portion of your shirt for the sleeve in half. Place the tank top on top. Match the edge of the tank top with the raw side of the folded piece, and match the bottom to the corner where the finished edge is.Cookie Policy
