Besides daily Kalaripayattu classes from 5 to 8 in the morning and 5 to 7 in the evenings, it offers yoga classes as well, three times a week. Children from the age of seven are taken in for training programmes. ARRIVAL OF ST. THOMAS IN KERALA According to tradition, St.Thomas evangelized this area and then crossed over to the Coromandel Coast of Southeast India. He was killed while he was carrying out his mission at Mylapore near Madras. His body was laid to rest there and subsequently moved to Edessa in the fourth century and from there to Orthano in Italy.
