Looking through my manuals, and previous service documentation, I don't see any reference to time-based servicing. It only states next service is at 6,000km. Given I'm not riding much at the moment, it'll take some years to reach the 6000km point. For most cars. it's buytime or distance

FUEL RESERVE
The fuel tank capacity is 19,0L (5 US Gal) so the last bar will last much longer. My best millage so far was 386.9km with 15,42L that gives 3,985L/100km. (240.41 mile / 4,07 US Gal = 59.1 mpg) but usually I run about 4,5L/100 km (52 mpg). However the fines for speeding are very stiff in my area and I really drive near the speed limit. TOP CASE AND SADDLEBAGS I have the Givi SR4114 mount and the "factory" top case, a Givi V47. The Givi purchased aftermarket is identical to to Kawi branded trunk except for the trim color, but it costs a lot less. The top case is very handy. A rule of thumb is look for ~10% pressure rise when the tire warms up. Too low pressure will cause more temperature rise, and too hard will be a lower rise. That 10% is nothing scientific, but seems to be a generally accepted number based on widespread experience. Too high will cause fast wear of the center of the tread, whereas low pressure TOP CASE AND SADDLEBAGS I have the Givi SR4114 mount and the "factory" top case, a Givi V47. The Givi purchased aftermarket is identical to to Kawi branded trunk except for the trim color, but it costs a lot less. The top case is very handy. The mount pkate is sturdy, and it mates to the Givi side racks if you want to add aluminum panniers. AUX LIGHT MOUNT OPTIONS. The mount wasn't too difficult but I made a project out of the wiring. The D2 wiring harness is set up to run from the battery and I hooked up to the fog lamp connector under the cowl. The wire harness would fit under the cowl but was jambed up too much for my tastes. I shortened the harness up so it fits much cleaner. WHICH OCTANE RATING DO YOU USE FOR YOUR VERSYS I usually run 93 octane in my Versys, the manual may say 87 is fine unless you hear a knock but it could have a small knock and you won't hear it, and the engine does have a 10.8 to 1 compression ratio and in my book that is a HIGH compression engine and deserves high octanefuel to make it

I recently replaced my stock tyres to Michelin Anakee Adventure and the guy at the shop told me to have them at 34psi front 36psi rear for road use. For 2 year i was using 28psi front 32psi back as the manual says. What tyre pressure are you using and what is your opinion? TOP CASE AND SADDLEBAGS I'm sorry an old topic. I have read most of the previous posts on this subject but still have a few points/questions. I just purchased a "left over" 2019 Versys 650LT. 200 miles so far. I'm beginning to think it was a mistake to get the LT. The panniers/saddle bags are a PITA! My HJC full face HANDLEBAR LIGHT VIBRATIONS AND HAND MIRROR VIBRATIONS Pffft. This sort of vibration can depend on what angle the front wheel is pointed, what engine RPM the bike is running at, age of the bike, looseness of LOTS parts on the bike between the engine and handlebars, how you the rider are sitting on the bike, the mirror positions, the bike itself, the road surface, the weather conditions, and on and onand on.
WHICH OCTANE RATING DO YOU USE FOR YOUR VERSYS 2008 V and i believe the MOM says 93 octane. i started early on using 87 octane e10 and have noticed no change in performance nor gas mileage compared to 93 octane e10, no knocking. so that's what i've always run as it's cheaper. my gas lines look fine after approx 10 years. recently tried 87 octane e0 with no change in performance except worse gas mileage !!! very noticeable. it should have*
