Could anybody give me the information about the current and future legal frequency blocks in France and Switzerland and if anyone has used UK radio Mics on block 38 or SENNHEISER MK50 VS SENNHEISER MKH8050 Report. The SX-M2D2 is a lightweight 2 channels high resolution dual-domain microphones preamplifier with integrated USB audio Class 2. I will be doing a recording on a stage using the Sound Devices 633. Instead of using comteks to monitor, the client and talent want a playback setup with loudspeakers. I have started an evaluation of my Neumann KM185 hyper vs a Schoeps CMC6/MK41. Looking at a Hypercardiod for dialog indoors. SO far. 1- The Schoeps is way more sensitive to finger movement on the boom. 2- THey both are EXTREMELY close in real condition test ( in a kitchen with people talking ). LECTROSONICS DPR VS AUDIO LTD. A10 the DPR is a slightly little more rolled off below 120hz. It may be interesting to note that the DPR system is quite flat in the low frequencies (see below trace showing frequency and phase response), especially when the HPF is set to 25 Hz (lowest setting). That said, there is a gentle rolloff down to WISYCOM OR LECTROSONICS So Im trying to decide between a wisycom kit at £3.2k or a lectrosonics at 3.5k. Both kits are dual receiver and two transmitters. So my question is, how important is 100mW? 1) The wisycoms in the UK cant do 100mW 2) lectrosonics can do 100mW 3) SAMPLE RATES 44100 VS 48000? There won't be any noticeable difference between 44.1/48k. Having 32-bit floating point is fine and all but your hardware is most likely converting it to 24-bit for the DA conversion to your monitors. Fan out the shield and make two twisted tails, tin them and then solder one tail to pin 1 and the other to pin 3. It will look like a "Y" connector. A lot easier than trying to solder in a jumper from pin 1 to pin 3 or 3 to 1. P.P.S. for a line level input connect the positive to the ring of the 3.5mm TRS plug. Im about to hand over the files to the production company SENNHEISER FREQUENCY USA FINDER Up until two or three days ago, the range of frequencies listed started at channel 14 and ended at channel 52. Or, since manufacturers will be no longer manufacturing units that can workabove ch 36

WISYCOM MPR52 WITH G3/G4 EXPERIENCES? The sensitivity of the Wisy receiver is such that a few weeks ago from a 50mW transmitter, we had 150m range from sound cart to an assistant in the van. The biggest negative compared with G3s is battery life of the receivers. You cannot do a day on one set of batteries. NAGRA SEVEN, WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? Posted March 6, 2019. BEST CARBON FIBER BOOM POLE IN 2019 @ JonG The term graphite is used as a synonym for carbon fiber, but actually they are all carbon fiber poles. Both graphite and carbon fiber contain carbon, but carbon fiber is a long ploymer that has to be treaded to become carbon fiber, where graphite is a hexagonal structure of pure carbon atoms. WHAT YOU YOU RECOMMEND TO POWER THE MIXPRE 3 +1 for the $66 Anker PowerCore+ 20100 USB-C, although you'll have to find a way to mount it. That rechargeable battery is long and a bit heavy, but you could tether it to a tripod leg with Velcro. I just used my new MixPre-6 on three 13+ hour days (1 phantom powered mic + 3 lavs), and the Anker battery used about 50-60% of its capacity.DPA 4060 OR 4061 ?
The 4060 is the correct choice since, though it is sensitive, it has a wide dynamic range. Mic clipping is at 134 dB and will not overload the SM (at minimum gain) when wired properly. Wire according to our manual or use the DPA DAD3056. Don't use the DPA DAD6021. SAMPLE RATES 44100 VS 48000? There won't be any noticeable difference between 44.1/48k. Hi, I thought it could be of some interest for some of you : I make my own antennas with straight and right angle connector for a very cheap price and they are at least as efficient as the official ones. RADIO VS AUDIO FREQUENCY Funny I just started diving into HAM stuff and for the first time realized that audio and radio were not technically on the same spectrum. I always remember those spectrum line images with light up to cosmic rays at one end and sound near the other, but after realizing radio freq's have a much longer wavelength but the frequency is technically higher really messed me up for awhile. On the Nagra website I saw this picture Nagra Seven On Cart , and I guess I was just curious why this recorder would be specifically used on a cart. I also was curious if anyone uses it in their bag in the field?DPA 4060 OR 4061 ?
4061 would be used in favour of the 4060 on film and drama - and with Lectro we fit a 1k7Ω resistor in series to knock its level down. Also worth considering is the 4071 (with low cut and presence which I sounds better when fitted under clothing.Jump to content
