The contents of of each packet are intended to build literacy skills, such as phonemic awareness, reading fluency and comprehension and vocabulary. First up, is a nursery rhyme poster that is available in colour and black and white. Print the coloured poster, laminate anddisplay.

Library beginning sounds match (13 pages) To prepare the activity for use, print and then laminate the pages for durability. Cut out all the pieces. I turned the scoops and cone upside down and Filip turned over each of the three scoops, identified the beginning sound and then checked his guess by turning over the cone.
