Most jobs alternate between the James City County Library and the Williamsburg Library and include some nights and weekends. A James City County Employment Application is required. WRL APP – WILLIAMSBURG REGIONAL LIBRARY The free WRL app, available for both iOS and Android devices, puts the library at your fingertips. Search the catalog, place and manage holds, download ebooks and digital audiobooks, access the library's website, and pay fines. The app will also store your library card number as well as those of family members. Get started by DAILY PRESS OBITUARY INDEX The main source of these obituaries is the Daily Press, which has been the City of Newport News’ local paper since 1898. The current obituary index covers 1898 through 1988. This index also covers obituaries from the Times-Herald from 1902 to 1915. TAX INFORMATION CENTER In partnership with the AARP, the Williamsburg Regional Library offers assistance filing taxes from February through filing day in April. Williamsburg SUMMER READING FOR EVERYONE Summer Reading starts on June 1 this year, and all ages can participate! Get started by registering to use Beanstack, our online summer reading tool, to log your books.
