There are endless walking opportunities allowing you to escape and unwind in the Garden of England. North Downs Way. Saxon Shore Way. THE SALUTATION GARDENS The Salutation Gardens are a plant lover’s paradise. Designed in 1912 by architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, the 3.7 acres are divided into a series of symmetrical “rooms”, each with a different purpose, gathered around a unifying theme. The effect is one of endlessly unfolding space, with wonderful surprises presented around eachcorner.
BRENZETT AERONAUTICAL MUSEUM TRUST Brenzett Aeronautical Museum Trust. The Museum is a unique collection of wartime equipment, remains recovered from aircraft crash sites and memorabilia collected and donated to the Museum since its formation in 1972. The Museum is an independent Trust dedicated to the memory of those living and dead, friend or foe, who served their country SANDILODGE AND SANDICOTTAGE SandiLodge and SandiCottage are joined by a gate within the wall of the gardens. This forms a perfect space for two families or groups to holiday together but have separate living spaces. The open plan design to both cottages creates an inviting space for relaxing and socialising. Open fire places create focal points within bothproperties.

WHITSTABLE CASTLE AND GARDENS Whitstable Castle and Gardens. Whitstable Castle or Tankerton Towers as it was first called started life as a residence for the Pearson family in the late 1790s and over its long history, it has been developed and improved by successive owners. Whitstable Castle is a five minute walk from the harbour. It is situated on the seafrontbetween
RAMSGATE BLITZ WALKS Relive the dark days of the war in the heaviest bombed seaside town in the country. Ramsgate Blitz Walk's starting from Ramsgate Library at 10am on the first Sunday of each month, and 7pm every Friday evening throughout July & August. Walks are free with donations welcome. No need to book. Dogs and children welcome. Approx two hours easywalking.

A beautiful sandy paradise reminiscent of Portugal’s Lagos coast, Joss Bay is one of Kent’s most popular sunshine and surf beach spots. Through the summer, it is a firm favourite whenever the sun comes out, but from 1 st October to 30 th April, the beach is open for dogs wishing to run in the sand, explore some cliffs at low tide and, if you’ve got a skilled pooch, take to some ROUNDWOOD HALL PAY & PLAY GOLF CLUB Roundwood Hall Pay & Play Golf Club. Roundwood Hall Golf Course is a picturesque short course situated within the North Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering something for all levels of golfer. The Museum is a unique collection of wartime equipment, remains recovered from aircraft crash sites and memorabilia collected and donated to the Museum since its formation in 1972.
