But it’s been 17 years since the gates were shut on Bell Gardens, Valley Center’s onetime public attraction that attracted thousands of visitors each year, many of whom met the man behind the bell and the taco bearing his name: Glen W. Bell, Jr. WHO LIVED HERE: JOHN DELOREAN This is the first in a new series of profiles of persons of fame, celebrity and notoriety who have lived in Valley Center and Pauma Valley. The first person profiled had a home on property so vast that it sprawled across both communities.
